Le deuxième festival arrive . . . The second festival is almost here!

Alasdair will be joined by nine musicians based in Brazil, the USA, Germany, France, and the UK. Works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Ravel, Fauré, Elgar, and Dvořak will be rehearsed, and four public concerts will take place, as well as a special musical ‘aperitif’ for the local people on the steps of the village church. We are particularly pleased and excited that two ensembles from the Gers-based young chamber orchestra Les Jeunes Cordes will attend the rehearsals on Friday morning before performing at the start of the mid-day concert in the church.
