Agée de 19 ans, Alinka Rowe, altiste depuis son jeune âge, mène déjà une carrière variée en tant que soliste mais aussi en tant que musicienne de
chambre.
Elle s’est produite en tant que soliste au Royal Festival Hall et à St John’s Smith Square, Londres. L’année passée elle a joué la première du Concerto pour alto de Daniel Hogan avec le Watford Youth Sinfonia. En tant que membre du trio primé Muzuta String Trio elle s’est produit à St John’s Smith Square, à la Holywell Music Room, Oxford et à la BBC Radio 3. A l’âge de 15 ans elle fut élue alto principal de l'Orchestre national des jeunes de Grande-Bretagne.
Boursière de la Royal Academy of Music sous la tutelle de Juan-Miguel Hernandez, Alinka a participé aux masterclasses avec Lawrence Power, Tabea Zimmermann et Rachel Roberts, cette dernière étant son professeur principal pendant plusieurs années. Elle a participé aussi aux masterclasses prestigieuses de Prussia Cove.
Elle attend avec impatience sa performance à Kings Place avec le violoncelliste Sheku Kanneh-Mason dans un programme de musique de chambre.
Alinka Rowe, 19, started playing the viola at an early age and is already developing a varied career as a soloist and chamber musician.
Alinka has performed as a soloist at the Royal Festival Hall and at St John’s Smith Square. Last year she premiered Daniel Hogan’s Viola Concerto with the Watford Youth Sinfonia.
As a member of the award-winning Mizuta String Trio she performed at St John’s Smith Square, the Holywell Music Room in Oxford, and on BBC Radio 3. At the age of 15 she was appointed principal viola of the National Youth Orchestra.
Alinka was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music with Juan-Miguel Hernandez and has performed in public masterclasses for Lawrence Power, Tabea Zimmermann, and Rachel Roberts, who was Alinka’s principal teacher for several years. She has also been a participant at the prestigious masterclasses at the International
Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove.
Her future engagements include a programme of chamber music at King’s Place with the cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
